Steps from Four O Clock Run, Spacious and Charming Ski-In/Ski-Out Retreat
“Our Mountain Honey” is situated 100 steps from a trailhead of the Four O’Clock ski run. Use the run to ski home at the end of the day, and to ski down to the Snowflake Lift to get to the base of Peak 8.
This classic Breckenridge vacation home features a sprawling, 4800 square foot layout, unique architectural details, and comfortable accommodations for 14. Après in the private outdoor Jacuzzi while enjoying the beautiful mountain views. Three fireplaces, multiple living areas, and two levels of outdoor deck provide plenty of room for the whole group to gather together, and also offer ample spaces to find some privacy. There is plenty of entertainment for everyone after a day of exertion outdoors. All six televisions are equipped with cable tv with thousands of free on demand movies and Roku boxes, and the third floor game room features a billiards table and a closet full of board games. This mountain retreat features five bedrooms, and additional sleeping for six in two of the living areas. A thoughtfully appointed kitchen and outdoor propane grill help make cooking those large meals easy and enjoyable. Radiant-heated floors, heated two-car garage, heated driveway, and snow shoveling service take all the work out of coming home from a day on the mountain or waking up after a night of fresh powder. The master suite features its own jetted garden tub and private living suite with gas fireplace and soaring window overlooking the trees. It is our little corner of paradise, and we hope you will consider “Our Mountain Honey” for your next Breckenridge ski vacation or summer getaway.

Decks:
Both decks have spectacular mountain and forest views. In the summer, Sawmill Creek can be heard rushing pleasantly below. The upper deck can be accessed from the main living room, the lower deck can be accessed from the 1st floor living room, trundle bedroom, and twin bedroom. Both decks feature porch swings. The upper deck has a dining table, rocking chairs and adirondack chairs, and the Weber grill. The lower deck features a Jacuzzi and is a great place to spend some outdoor time out of the blazing summer sun, because it is mostly shaded by the upper deck.

Wonderful escape to the mountains
My family and I had an amazing week and a half at Our Mountain Honey. Babs was extremely responsive, the house was impeccable when we arrived, the location is outstanding, and the amenities were all there. We would certainly recommend it to others, and will surely be back.

Awesome!!
We enjoyed our vacation so much. Enough space for everyone. We really loved that we could literally ski right up to the front door from the 4 o’clock run. Everything was clean, and the process of applying was simple. Will plan to stay here again!

Mountain Honey Deserves Its Name
The house lived up to its listing and then some. Clearly the cleanest house our 9-man ski group has rented in nearly 20 years. It is well outfitted in the kitchen with all the utensils, pots and pans you’ll need. Great for large groups in part because there’s plenty of room to gather in two large family rooms but also to separate in several nooks or sitting areas for a little down time, catching up on work, phone calls or just watching your favorite show on tv. We managed to trigger the smoke detectors (clearly our fault) and Babs was immediately on the phone to help us reset the alarm code. We had ample parking for two cars outside (could have been three) on the heated driveway and one in the garage. The other side of the heated garage offers perfect space with benches for buckling up or removing ski boots – after you’ve skied down the road right to the driveway. The two-level deck out back is huge with a nice view into the woods and a large, comfortable hot tub. Thanks Babs! We tried to leave it as we found it.

The perfect ski house
We just ended a wonderful week in Breckenridge staying in the beautiful Mountain Honey house. The host could not have been more helpful and welcoming as we became familiar with the home and the area. The house is beautifully furnished and was very comfortable for our large 15 person multiple family group. We all had comfortable beds and privacy and plenty of bathrooms. The hot tub was large and very clean and with a beautiful view of the adjoining forest. We’ve never stayed in a rental that was as well kitted out with kitchen gear…pots, pans, utensils, etc….it had everything that we needed for preparing our large group meals. The house is only 100 or so steps from the slopes…it is essentially ski in ski out. It was a great vacation in large part because the Mountain Honey house was perfect.
